Long live the Chicago Beef. HD is a home away from home that shows up time after time. Chef Derek cooks some killer burgers that make you wanna come back for more. Free darts and sports on the tube, killer beats on the speakers, and a great home town feel. HD Tavern for the win! Also, I brought my pup and she was treated so well. Cheers!

Sucks to write this review because we usually come for karaoke. Whoever the heck the bouncer was today kicked us out because our DD said he didn’t want a drink?! As we were getting our id’s check our DESIGNATED DRIVER had the bouncer his ID and said he didn’t want to drink alcohol. So the bouncer yelled at us “then leave”. Told our DD that he can’t stay here if he isn’t drinking and got super aggressive with him even after he said fine he’d buy a redbull. So we left. Didn’t even spend 1 minute in the bar. Then as we were leaving he said we would have just “taken up space” even though the rest of us were planning on drinking and doing karaoke like we do every time we go there. SUPER aggressive and rude for no reason and we’ve never even seen that bouncer there before. Usually the workers there are super cool, don’t know what was up that guys butt.

this place was amazing! Service was excellent. Bartenders were very attentive. Had a big group there on Saturday night and had so much fun. Had lunch there on Sunday. Cheesesteak was awesome. Thanks to Brad, Derek and the rest of the crew!

Great variety of hot dogs. I only wish they would grill or steam the buns. I don’t understand why restaurants don’t do anything to the bun when they have an otherwise creative menu!

Great bar! They decorated for Christmas so the vibes are great. The bartenders rock, very kind & respectful and got to my order right away. Be sure to spin the wheel if you go. I highly recommend the Dew drop hotdog or Philly Cheese stake if you’re ordering food.

While in Breckenridge we decided to give this place a try. The food was good, but as far as affordability goes, it’s not much different than any other place in town. In fact, I would say, unless you’re getting a hotdog it may be more expensive than other places in town. My son got the grilled cheese and we all looked at it and wondered how it costed $13.49. For a couple dollars extra he could’ve gotten fries, or had we been on top of our game, we could have gotten a kids meal and gotten the fries for $.50 more. At the end of our meal, there was no itemized receipt of the food that we purchased. Instead the bar tender came by and told us what we owed which was a bit shady. When we come back to Breckenridge, I doubt we’ll be visiting here again.

The HD Tavern was so much FUN! We stopped in to watch a football game and ended up staying for Karoake night!The staff was friendly and accommodating. The grilled cheese sandwich was Amazing!! Will definitely be back next time we’re in town!!

My family got their chilly cheese dogs with Fritos. They prepare in front of you. It’s a bar setup and you can order right at the bar, definitely a tavern vibe. Will return
